Debate Debate is for students who enjoy research, logic, and analysis of a topic. Students work with their peers to prepare cases on a current topic determined at the state level. |
Forensics This co-curricular activity is for students who enjoy acting or speaking. There are eight events available for competition, including Original Oration (persuasive), Extemporaneous Speaking, Informative Speaking, Humorous Interpretation, Dramatic Interpretation, Duet Acting, and Interpretation of Poetry and Prose. |
Journalism Yearbook and newspaper staff members develop skills in journalistic writing, layout, photography, advertising, and technology. While learning to balance freedom of expression with legal and ethical responsibilities, these students gain valuable experience in the field of journalism. |
Instrumental Music Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Pep Band play an important role in the school's identity, performing at sporting events, concerts and community functions. |
Vocal Music Concert Choir, Women's & Men's Ensemble, and Select Mixed Chorus sing a variety of music, and individual members perform solos or participate in small ensembles and participate in contest and festivals. |

We have been the leader in one-to-one youth service for more than a century, developing positive relationships that have a direct and lasting impact on the lives of young people. Big Brothers Big Sisters mentors children, ages 6 through 18. |
