I graduated from Goddard High School in 2012, and from Wichita State University in May of 2016.
I was the Spring 2016 Teacher of Promise for WSU and attended the Kansas Exemplary Educator’s Network conference this past February. We learned about the plans for the future of Kansas education and how focused we are on creating an environment where all students feel comfortable and are able to learn what can best help them. What a wonderful time to be a Kansas Educator!
I earned my Masters in Education with a Concentration in Technology in December 2019 through Baker University. I’m happy to incorporate these teachings into my classes!
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish. I also have a Masters Degree in Education with a Concentration in Technology.
I’m super excited to be here at Andover Central High School this year! I have been here in the district for a few years now and I can’t wait to continue being a part of such a wonderful community!
I am teaching Pre-Algebra and Algebra 2 this year.
I am the oldest of three children, and I love spending time with my sister Becca and my brother Dan.
I have a kitten named Nightwing who loves to nap on my computer whenever I need to work!
When not teaching, planning, grading, or otherwise working, I love to read. Strange for a math teacher, I know. :) I have a large collection of novels, especially fantasy, mysteries, and sci-fi. I also love watching crime shows and trying to figure out who-dunnit before the characters!
