Go Huskers!!! Yes, I am a Nebraska fan. I was born and raised in Iowa, but I found Husker land a great place to live. I received my bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska in Music Education. I marched in the band for three years, attended three bowl games, but never won the championship. I also participated on the Husker bowling team. My teaching experience includes teaching in Oklahoma, Kansas, South Africa, and now I have returned home to Kansas. It is said, "There is no place like home." I also completed my master’s degree in Special Education from WSU in 2017. This wil be my 9th year teaching in the Andover school distrist, but my first year at Andover Central High School. I am thrilled to be part of one of the best schools in the state of Kansas as well as among some of the finest educators.

My husband and I have been married 32 years and have four children. Our oldest is a graduate of WSU and Friends University employed at Textron Aviation, second is also a graduate of WSU and works along side his wife as traveling nurses throughout the state of Kansas, third just completed his bachelor’s degree from WSU preparing to return to his birth place, South Africa to seek employment, and lastly, our 7th grader who attends Andover Middle School.

I am looking forward to a great year striving to make a difference one student at a time.
