This is my 26th year in education. I began teaching and coaching in 1989 at Wichita North High. In 1998 I went to Andover High as the Assistant Principal and Activities Director. I moved to Andover Central in 2001 when the school opened up and am currently in my 14th year. My wife Julie is a lifelong educator of over 25+ years and teaches at Sunflower Elementary School. I have three children, Robert, Patrick and Colleen, who all graduated from Andover Central. Colleen is currently an elementary teacher in the Remington-Whitewater School District. I have a Bachelor in Business Administration-Finance from Wichita State. A Shocker fan through and through I have a Bachelor in Science in Secondary Education along with a Masters of Education Administration from WSU. I have served on the Board of Directors of the Kansas State High School Activities Association as well as the Kansas Interscholastic Activities Athletics Association. I have earned the designation of Certified Athletic Administrator from National Interscholastic Activities Association and am a life-time member. I have been recognized as the National Entrepreneurship Teacher of the year. I was also recognized as the Regional Athletic Director and the State Athletic Director of the year in 2013.
