Prom/After Prom-THIS WEEK
Prom tickets are now available in the ACHS office. All students and guests attending Prom must have a ticket. There is no charge for ACHS students, guests MUST have a guest pass filled out and turned in with payment of $15. Prom is April 28th at The Ville at St. Vincent de Paul-please enter through South entrance. Doors open at 7:00 pm and dance starts at 7:30. The crowning is at 8:00.
After prom begins at 12:00 midnight at The Alley. Sign-up is in the ACHS office with a payment of $15 per person. Each student will also need to fill out a Waiver & Release From Liability for Go Carts in order to ride. Those will be turned in at the Alley.
Please note: Any student (Jrs/Srs) with outstanding class fees or over due detention will not be allowed to get tickets until these obligations are taken care of. Thank you.

Attention Junior Girls: Senior Girls 2019 Shirts are now on sale. They are $20 and must be paid for in advance. The order form will be handed out in English class or can be printed HERE. Orders are due by May 1st.
Butler Enrollment-Dual Credit Classes
Butler will be here next Wednesday, May 2nd from 8:00 -12:00 to enroll for Fall 2018 dual credit classes (Comp 1, Speech, College Algebra, and/or US Government) and Summer classes. Enrollment for Spring 2019 classes will be in the fall semester. We will call you down alphabetically that morning to the counseling office to complete your enrollment.
If you have not taken a Butler class before and have not submitted an application, you will fill one out on Wednesday. Social security numbers will be needed for the application. You will not need to pay at this time; the bill will be sent to your house.
Students who have signed up for a college release hour (classes taken at Butler, not ACHS): you will need to sign up on this day for the class/classes in which you are interested. Please know the Butler class names and times in order to sign up.
Planning Ahead for College Admissions: A Workshop for 9th &10th parentsJennifer Fry, Owner of College Matters KS, will present this workshop, which is specifically designed for parents of rising 9th and 10th graders. In this workshop, she will present information about how students can become competitive applicants, as well as other important topics, including standardized testing, trends in college admissions, and merit-based scholarships. The workshop will be held on Tuesday, May 1 from 6-8pm at Watermark Books. Cost is $30. Please clickhere for more information on how to register.
Kids 4 Kids food drive- Andover Central High School’s Kids for Kids Club is hosting a food drive from now until April 27th. This food drive directly benefits the Sunshine Children’s Home, Wichita Children's Home and the Food for Kids Backpack program. We would love it if you could help by bringing in the following requested snack items:
Items can be placed in the collection box outside the main office, or delivered to Mrs. Taylor or Mrs. Garcia.
Lunch Accounts- There will be no more negative account balances allowed through the end of the school year. If account falls to zero or below, charges will not be allowed.
